Golf Facilities Request a Free Informational Brochure!               University of Illinois – Demirjian Indoor Golf Facility This state of the art golf practice facility constructed at the University cost over $5 million. Over 11,000 square feet of turf was installed, which includes a putting and chipping green of over 4,500 square feet of turf with a first and second cut of fringe, rough and even synthetic turf sand bunker created for the aesthetic and to hit over. The facility will create every shot possible on a real golf course with different textures of turf and every uphill, downhill, side hill lie along with flat areas. The green will also give every imaginable putt and approach shot available. A dead flat area for straight putts was even installed, a smaller professional cup for practicing to. The green is multi-tiered along with having different stimp speeds to practice on for faster and slower greens. Players Turf also installed their non filled nylon tee line which holds up to a five inch tee in the heated bays, allowing for year round usage.     Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana Overall turf area for this facility is over 7,500 square feet of three different styles of turf along with a real sand bunker for practicing. Notre Dame University also installed Players Turf non-filled nylon tee mats, which holds a ball on a five inch tee. The team can hit balls year round from the heated bays to their target greens on the range.   Purdue University – Tom Spurgeon Golf Training Center Players Turf was chosen to install over 5,000 square feet of nylon putting surface that was furnished by the University. Players Turf non-filled nylon tee line was also used in the heated bays in the building, which allows hitting outside to the driving range target greens for year round playability. The outside driving range at Purdue University is a major testing area for synthetic turf with three different styles of tee lines for a different feel. They have two non-filled nylon tee line styles along with one quartz in-filled polypropylene tee line.   Other Universities and practice facilities that Players Turf has installed turf at are: Michigan State University, Lehigh University, California University of Pennsylvania, Iowa State University, Marquette University, Kent State University, Illinois Wesleyan University.
